Auditions for The Green Room Community Theatre’s spring Black Box comedy, Greater Tuna, are scheduled for Sunday, January 29 & Monday, January 30, 2012 at 7:00 pm. Auditions will be held at the Old Post Office Playhouse located at 10 South Main Avenue, Newton, NC 28658. Please enter at the lower level door at the back of the building (on South Ashe Avenue) and be prepared to stay for the entire audition time.
This hilarious comedy by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears, and Ed Howard, takes place in Tuna, Texas – where the population is small, but the personalities are big!
The cast calls for two males, aged 18 or over. The script is fast-paced as these two actors take on close to 30 roles! No prepared monologues are necessary. There will be some cold reading from the script. Please wear comfortable clothes for easy movement.
Greater Tuna is produced by Cargo Transporters, and is directed by Andrew Turnbull. Production dates for Greater Tuna are March 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 25, 30, 31, and April 1. You must be able to be at all performances of the show.
