Catawba County Champions of Education seeks to be a resource partner in Catawba County, and to find and develop “champions”, who will serve as advocates for education. They work to promote the value of education and its link to economic prosperity and to stimulate businesses, government, families and schools to work to improve education, both singularly and collaboratively.
You and your business can become a champion! Each year, Champions of Education present 3 Belief Awards to businesses who have supported education by volunteering and making financial contributions:

Champions of Education has 4 areas of emphasis to help achieve their goals:
- Education Advocacy: Catawba County Champions of Education host public meetins and speaking engagements to enable all citizens to be aware of the importance of education, and its link to economic prosperity.
- Preschool Advancement: Catawba County Champions of Education strive to ensure that all Catawba County children have access to a high quality preschool education.
- Family Involvement: Catawba County Champions of Education strive to ensure that all students’ families are aware of the importance of their role in their children’s educational success and are provided with ways to be involved.
- Business Partnerships: Catawba County Champions of Education provide information for all businesses to take action to support education.
